I didn’t invent anything here. Powerful people said that before me. Oprah Winfrey said, “Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.” Anthony Robbins said, “When you’re grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears.”

And I can continue telling you what famous people said forever.

The Science Behind the Power of Gratitude

And it’s also proven scientifically. 

Research proved that someone who is grateful lives healthier and someone who is negative has more health issues.

Negative emotions are not good for your health. Negative attitudes and bad feelings can create chronic stress and damage your immune system.

But science proved that being grateful and giving love to yourself and others will make you happier and live in good health.

Taking the First Steps Towards Gratitude

If you read this post, it means that you want to feel better and maybe you don’t know where to start. 

So I recommend you, if you really have to work on one emotion, it has to be gratitude. It’s the most powerful emotion in the world.

Gratitude can make you love yourself more, appreciate what you have, even little things. Because, trust me, life is beautiful, when you wake up and open your eyes to the signs around you.

Happiness and health are the gifts for living with gratitude.

You know what? It might be stupid for others, but you don’t care. Try it!

Practising Gratitude Daily

Try sometimes to sit in a park, take a big breath and feel the sun on your skin. I used to do that. I was concentrating on myself and especially on the effect of the sun on my skin.

And I was saying inside me, “Wow, it’s amazing.” Because if you start to live that moment, you are golden.

Gratitude is going to make you see the beautiful things around you that you have never seen before.

Overcoming Challenges Through Gratitude

So, if you think that everything is over, trust me it’s not. If you practice your gratitude emotion you will finally find beautiful things in your life.

You need to know that being rich has nothing to do with gratitude. I know very rich people who are not happy.

And let me tell you, being grateful is priceless. Because you are in peace. Some of these rich people do not have this peace, that you can reach.

Creating a Habit of Gratitude

The best gift that you can do to yourself, is to practice gratitude for 21 days. This is the time that it takes the brain to form a new habit. So after 21 days, it will be unconscious.

Being grateful is not only with words by the way. This is something that you can feel inside. Once you say the words you really need to feel them. From the bottom of your heart.

The happiness and health are the gift for living with gratitude.

Finding Gratitude in the Simple Things

I can give you a lot of examples. When you go to sleep the sensation of getting comfortable is one of the best things in the world, isn’t it? So, be grateful for that. Not everybody has this chance. 

Another example: when you take a hot shower during winter after coming from a long day of work. Concentrate on that moment. It’s a big chance trust me. 

Feel it and say positive affirmations at the time. Enjoy that little moment because not everybody has this chance.
